Kamila has an in-depth industry and beverage category knowledge which she acquired while managing bars in London and then working for leading food and drinks companies such as Britvic, where she led market insight and category strategy for OOH channels. She is also a leading hospitality blogger with thousands of followers, at the top 1% of industry influencers.Read More
Kamila came to the UK from Poland in the mid-90s to begin her hospitality career. Rising from front of house and bartending in London NW trendy pubs and restaurants such as The Enterprise, The Monarch and The Engineer, to managing popular bars in busy nightclubs in Central London such as The Limelight and the Equinox and finally becoming F&B manager at Tootsies, the American steakhouse and cocktail bar in Canary Wharf. Her ten years in hospitality has given her hands-on experience and insight into perfecting the guest experience while studying business and marketing. Unsurprisingly, her MBA thesis was on meeting guests’ expectations in the foodservice industry.
Kamila then transitioned to working for global food and drinks brands, always in market and category intelligence functions. In one of her latest roles, Kamila worked for Britvic, providing strategic direction for soft drinks in the Out-Of-Home channels and was frequently nominated and awarded Britvic Stars and High Performance Awards. A decade of hands-on experience in hospitality combined with as many years in data analytics, insight and strategy shaped a strong, commercially-minded champion of the industry.
Spotting a gap in the premium Eating Out sector and a massive industry challenge around sugar, Kamila set out to work on the world’s first bottled drinks which can be sweetened to taste. She passionately believes that the future of soft drinks is bespoke.
